Rainfall
The yearly average rainfall in the temperate rain forest is at least 200 cm and up to 350 cm in the warmer areas. The most precipitation occurs during November and December.

Temperate and Seasons
The spring and summer time is April through September. The average temperature is about 32 degrees; warmer ares can get up to 68 degrees.The temperate goes up significantly during these months. The lowest temperatures are during October through March, the fall and winter.

The temperate rain forest has rivers, and plains, and small mountains.

Soil
The rain forest has dark and damp soil that is richer than soil in tropical rain forests, since the trees in the tropical rain forest have roots that suck out the nutrients.
